How the Gold Resale Calculator Works

The gold resale value formula is: Cash Value = Weight (grams) × Purity Fraction × Today’s 24K IBJA Rate. The purity fraction converts your karat into a decimal: 24K = 1.000, 22K = 0.916, 18K = 0.750, 14K = 0.585.

Example: You have a 15g 22K necklace. Today’s 24K IBJA rate is ₹15,250/g. Resale value = 15 × 0.916 × ₹15,250 = ₹2,09,535. That is the cash you should receive before any deductions.

Is the calculator value the exact amount I receive?

The calculated value is the maximum you should receive. Small adjustments may apply for soldering, stones or impurities discovered during XRF testing. At Attica Gold, no arbitrary deductions are made.

What if my gold has stones or lac filling?

Stones and lac are removed before weighing. You receive the per-gram rate for the net gold weight only.
